FAQs
How do you create your images ?
I create my images by using 35mm film cameras. I use film cameras because they produce beautiful colors, colorful light leaks (sometimes), and natural grain. I find the process of shooting on film more enjoyable than digital. I like that I don’t have instant gratification like digital and have to wait for the film to be developed before seeing the results. Once I receive the scans I get super excited to see my work.
How do you edit your pictures/what effects do you use ?
For the images I take, I try not to edit the images unless it’s for exposure (brightness) because I normally already enjoy the results.I don’t use editing to create the images. I use a combination of lenses, 35mm film cameras, and different types of film stocks to create that old/vintage look for each photo.
What is your favorite camera to shoot with?
Currently my favorite camera to shoot with is the Nikon F3. The F3 was gifted to me on my 21st birthday and is so fun to shoot with and produces amazing images and has an aperture priority mode.
